About the position

The Real Estate Photographer/Videographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality photos and videos of residential and commercial properties. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong understanding of lighting and composition, and technical skills to produce visually appealing content that highlights the unique features of each property.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-resolution photographs of the interior and exterior of residential and commercial properties.
  • Utilize professional photography equipment, including cameras, tripods, and lighting tools, to achieve the best possible results.
  • Use composition techniques to showcase rooms, layouts, and unique property features (e.g., wide-angle shots, close-ups, and detail shots).
  • Ensure proper lighting, exposure, and color balance for images.
  • Shoot professional-quality property videos, including walkthrough tours, aerial drone footage (if applicable), and promotional videos for listings.
  • Create compelling property videos that highlight key features, room flow, and property aesthetics.
  • Coordinate with clients to capture any special requests or unique angles for video projects.
  • Maintain and care for all photography and videography equipment, ensuring that all gear is in optimal working condition.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technology to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with HsHProd admin team, real estate agents, and/or sellers to understand the vision and requirements for each property shoot.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging photography/videography techniques to maintain a competitive edge in real estate marketing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in real estate photography and videography.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to capture high-quality real estate photos and videos.
  • Proficient with photography and video equipment (cameras, drones, gimbals, etc.).
  • Knowledge of lighting techniques and how to create visually appealing and well-exposed images.
  • A creative and artistic eye with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property shoots.
  • Experience with drone photography/videography and FAA Part 107 certification.
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays or evenings as needed to accommodate client schedules.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in virtual tours or 360-degree photography.
