About the position

Hagan Realty, a vibrant and growing real estate company operating in Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia, and Southern Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time real estate videographer and editor. This role is essential for creating engaging video content that showcases the properties we sell and promotes our agents and the company itself. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on videography, capturing high-quality footage of properties, events, and promotional materials. While the primary responsibility is to operate the camera, the ability to handle editing tasks will be a significant advantage. We are looking for someone who can work both on-site at our office in Germantown, MD, and at various property locations, with some flexibility to work from home as needed. The videographer will be responsible for producing a variety of video types, including property showcases, social media content, event coverage, and training materials. The output will be tailored for platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. We provide all necessary equipment and software, including high-end cameras, drones, and editing software, ensuring that our videographer has the tools needed to succeed. We value creativity and a strong work ethic, and while technical skills can be taught, a positive attitude and the ability to connect with our agents and clients are crucial. Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality video footage of properties and events.
  • Edit video content for various platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Collaborate with agents to develop creative concepts for promotional videos.
  • Produce training materials and interviews with agents and clients.
  • Manage video shoots on location and in the studio.
  • Ensure all video content aligns with the company's branding and messaging.
  • Maintain and operate video equipment and software.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in video recording.
  • 1 year of experience in video editing.
  • Familiarity with video production equipment and software is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively with clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Part 107 license for drone operation (willingness to obtain if not already certified).
  • Experience with social media video content creation.
  • Creative storytelling skills for video production.
