About the position

The Receiver/Stocker at Lowe's plays a crucial role in ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized, providing quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position involves unloading merchandise, stocking shelves, and preparing the store for sales success, all while adhering to safety guidelines and physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
• Accurately receive, stock, and replenish merchandise.
• Safely unload merchandise from incoming freight and move it to the sales floor.
• Organize merchandise and top stock to set up stores for sales success.
• Handle hazardous materials and replace damaged shelving.
• Keep the backroom organized and ensure equipment is charged.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
• 6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
