New Balance Lubbock is seeking a full-time Retail Associate to join our dynamic team. This position requires a minimum of three years of experience in a retail sales environment, with a preference for candidates who have a background in footwear. The Retail Associate will be responsible for specialty fitting of shoes tailored to various foot types and activities, ensuring that each customer feels valued and at home during their shopping experience. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate high energy and trustworthiness while leading our close-knit team. Your outgoing personality and excellent communication skills will be essential in building rapport with customers and enhancing their shopping experience. You will also need to possess strong selling skills and be a quick learner, as you will be required to adapt to our product offerings and customer needs swiftly. Key holder experience and knowledge of exercise science are considered a plus, as they will contribute to your effectiveness in this role. The Retail Associate will work an 8-hour shift, primarily during the day from Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
