About the position
As a Full-Time Sales Associate at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience in a welcoming and engaging store environment. Your role will involve managing retail operations, driving sales, and fostering a positive team culture while being passionate about shoes and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily store tasks such as pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory are completed efficiently.
- Provide stellar customer engagement and create memorable shopping experiences for customers.
- Review store performance and drive sales to achieve goals, communicating effectively with the team.
- Act with integrity by adhering to company policies and seeking feedback for personal development.
- Uphold a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting teammates and assisting with training when needed.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect shoe styles and ensuring they leave with satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
- Strong communication skills with associates at all levels.
- Independent judgment and discretion in partnership with the Store Sales Manager.
- Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and a flexible schedule.
