About the position

The Sales Lead at LOFT is responsible for partnering with the Store Manager to oversee all store operations, ensuring the achievement of financial goals, enhancing client service, and managing human resources effectively. This role emphasizes driving sales, fostering a positive team environment, and maintaining operational excellence while adhering to company standards and values.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Store Manager to lead and direct all store activities.
  • Embrace company values and set an example through behaviors.
  • Ensure compliance with all company practices and procedures.
  • Direct client service efforts to increase transactions and capture client opportunities.
  • Drive business strategy to grow sales and profits.
  • Analyze business reports to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Model company values while holding associates accountable for their actions.
  • Foster a client-focused team environment and anticipate clients' needs.
  • Assist in the development of the team through recruitment, coaching, and engagement.
  • Provide exceptional client service and address client concerns promptly.
  • Communicate goals and results clearly to all levels of staff.
  • Manage associates' client service skills through feedback and training.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of diverse talent.
  • Support Store Manager in fostering team commitment and recognizing contributions.
  • Execute brand visual standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Adjust weekly schedules to maximize productivity and control payroll spend.
  • Support loss prevention practices and maintain store organization and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize client service as a top priority.
  • Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, and meet deadlines in store operations.
  • Leadership skills to challenge and motivate associates respectfully.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of store reports to maximize performance and drive volume.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Supervisory/Management experience in the service industry preferred.
