About the position
The Sales Specialist Appliances at Lowe's is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a well-stocked and safe store environment. This role involves understanding customer needs, demonstrating product features, and closing sales. The specialist ensures that merchandise is showroom-ready and engages in safe work practices. Additionally, the position may require occasional travel for meetings or training.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and stocked store.
- Understand customer needs to recommend appropriate products and services.
- Ensure merchandise is showroom-ready and operates correctly during demonstrations.
- Engage in safe work practices and properly operate store equipment.
- Explain product specifications and features to customers to facilitate sales.
- Provide consultative services to customers and confirm their needs are met before leaving the store.
- Execute orders and projects related to appliances.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of external experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe's retail experience.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including Special Order Sales.
- 2 years of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs.
- 2 years of experience in customer service, including resolving complaints and building relationships.
- 2 years of experience following up on outstanding customer orders or sales.
- 1 year of experience promoting product-related services such as installation or delivery.
- 2 years of experience in a sales environment with required sales goals.
- 1 year of employment with Lowe's as a Sales Specialist.
- 1 year of experience selling appliances.
