About the position

The Scheduling and Staffing Administrator at Lowe's is responsible for supporting store leadership through various administrative tasks related to staffing, scheduling, talent acquisition training, compliance, and payroll. This role involves maintaining associate paperwork, organizing break and training rooms, and updating time and attendance records. The administrator also assists in the talent acquisition process and promotes a strong safety culture by managing administrative tasks related to Worker's Compensation and other claims. The position requires strong organizational skills to balance multiple tasks effectively throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Monitor driver and associate scheduling to ensure timely merchandise delivery and stocking.
  • Support internal and external customers, including store leadership and HR.
  • Maintain associate paperwork and organize break and training rooms.
  • Update time and attendance records according to company policies.
  • Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in processing candidates through the talent acquisition process.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to Worker's Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Claims.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • 2 years of administrative experience, including data processing and scheduling.
  • 1 year of experience managing confidential staff information.
  • 1 year of experience in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a retail environment or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a cross-functional team environment with exempt and non-exempt staff.
  • 1 year of experience supporting the staffing process, including posting requisitions and scheduling interviews.
