About the position
INVO Healthcare is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Middle School ASD Program in Fair Lawn, NJ. The role involves providing therapeutic services to school-aged children, focusing on speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders. The ideal candidate will be committed to driving positive outcomes for students and will work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, and school administrators.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student needs.
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an ASHA accredited university.
- Appropriate state licensure or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure.
- Ability to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Ability to treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for students.
- Collaborative minded professional with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working in schools or with children is a plus, but not required.
