Compass Dermatopathology, Inc. is seeking a full-time Specimen Accessioner/Data Entry Clerk to join their team in San Diego, CA. The role involves performing specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information according to established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted.
• Accurately enter patient information into the computer system for tracking purposes.
• Meet key production metrics and quality measures ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.

Requirements

• Demonstrated computer proficiency and exceptional typing skills.
• A high level of attention to detail with the ability to problem solve.
• A strong demonstrated work ethic and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• A willingness to learn.
• The ability to work Monday through Friday, Noon to 8:30 PM, and additional days and hours if business needs require it.
• A High School Diploma or higher certificate.
