About the position
The Full Time Stocker position at Novo Distribution involves servicing various Lowe's stores within a designated geographical area, ensuring the effective stocking of Empire materials as part of the company's Stocking Program. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and effective communication with store personnel, while also maintaining a tidy and organized stock area. This position offers a starting salary of $45,000 per year, along with a car allowance and mileage reimbursement, with benefits commencing on the first day of employment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety while working in Lowe's stores and for those around you.
- Be courteous and professional to customers.
- Communicate effectively with Lowe's store personnel.
- Confirm product availability with the Lowe's receiving department.
- Stock Empire products within 36 hours of delivery unless otherwise arranged.
- Retrieve Empire products from inventory and stock them appropriately.
- Ensure all stocked products are neat and tidy, returning items to their proper locations.
- Perform culls and ensure Lowe's receives credit for damaged pieces.
- Keep aisles free of debris during the stocking process.
- Clean up and dispose of packing materials properly.
- Return or arrange for the return of carts and cattle racks to their proper locations.
- Participate in special events for customers as requested.
- Assist with store set/reset activities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- A valid un-restricted driver's license
- Automobile insurance coverage
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic math skills
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently.
