About the position

The Stockroom Operations Supervisor at Kohl's is responsible for overseeing store operational processes and leading associates to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency. This role involves teaching, coaching, and developing team members while executing various operational tasks to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store operations and lead associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Execute operational processes including freight unload, receiving, processing product, and stockroom management.
• Support inventory accuracy through timely and accurate merchandise disposition practices.
• Maintain appropriate product levels on the sales floor by managing incoming freight and directing floor replenishment.
• Train new hires on operational processes and best practices.
• Partner with the merchandising team to ensure proper product placement and adherence to brand standards.
• Model and guide associates in customer service philosophies and resolving customer issues.
• Monitor daily store activity to prevent loss and ensure product protection standards.
• Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive store results and make informed business decisions.
• Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and maintain adherence to safety policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising teams or associates with responsibility for coaching to achieve daily goals.
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
