About the position

The Full Time Supervisor at Kate Spade is responsible for driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer service in the store. This role involves collaborating with the Store Manager to implement business initiatives, supervising store operations, and fostering a positive team environment. The Supervisor will also play a key role in maintaining brand standards and operational excellence while achieving personal and team sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Store Manager to develop business driving initiatives that build repeat business or attract new customers.
  • Communicate and achieve store productivity targets including sales per hour, adt, upt, and capture rate.
  • Ensure all associates complete the sales training program and develop strong product knowledge across all categories.
  • Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training processes to ensure high levels of customer service and sales.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and educate the team on sales plans and store statistics.
  • Ensure the highest level of service is provided to all customers through extensive product knowledge and completion of product profiles.
  • Foster a team environment by creating a fun, competitive, inviting atmosphere.
  • Understand and communicate the Kate Spade brand aesthetic and philosophy to the sales team and customers.
  • Ensure brand and operating standards are met to support brand consistency and store presentation standards.
  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds and completing bank deposits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a leadership role within retail.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
