About the position
We are seeking a full-time supragingival scaler to join our well-established dental practice. The ideal candidate will be part of a team that values integrity, care, and excellence, contributing to a family-like work environment. This role focuses on ensuring patient comfort, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
- Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques, flossing)
- Take X-rays
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Requirements
- Certificate in Supragingival scaling
- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
- Outstanding communication skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- Attention to detail
