About the position

The Technical Product Manager 2 in the Temple Department is responsible for managing the lifecycle of software products that support the mission of the Church and its temple operations. This strategic role involves collaborating with development teams to understand user needs, solving complex issues, and measuring the success of software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of Temple Department software products.
  • Collaborate closely with development and implementation partners to understand customer needs.
  • Lead the development and execution of plans to meet user requirements.
  • Solve significant and unique issues requiring analysis and creativity.
  • Measure and own the results and success metrics of software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years of industry experience in product development and/or product management.
  • Solid experience delivering web-based and/or mobile solutions.
  • Experience with data warehouses and business intelligence is a plus.
  • Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) and hardware lifecycle planning is a plus.
  • Experience developing business plans and requirements for service delivery.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level products/services.
  • Familiarity with product management lifecycle tools and agile development principles.
  • Proven leadership in customer research and analysis of diverse cultures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
  • Language skills besides English are desirable.
