About the position
The Audio-Visual Service Technician at AVI Systems is responsible for supporting clients by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing integrated audio-visual technologies. This role requires a passion for technology and a commitment to customer satisfaction, as technicians will work directly with clients across various sectors including business, government, healthcare, education, and entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of integrated Audio-Visual Technologies for clients.
- Work independently and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the service or installation of audio, video, and/or audiovisual presentation systems and IT/Networks.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
- Strong communication and customer relation skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Nice-to-haves
- Info Comm CTS Certification preferred but not required with the right experience.
- Other industry-related training/certifications (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure) are a plus.
