About The Position
The Full Time Teller position at Santander Bank in Seekonk, MA, serves as the first point of contact for consumer and business clients. The role involves assisting clients with resolving product, service, or account issues, opening or closing accounts, processing transactions, logging requests, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team for timely resolution. Tellers are also responsible for selling targeted products and services as part of client-initiated interactions and maintaining operational integrity. The position requires providing exceptional customer service by meeting all customer demands related to straightforward inquiries, with support from more experienced personnel. Tellers must adhere to safe deposit box procedures and operations, educate and engage customers about their current and future financial needs, and assist in exceeding service goals by minimizing customer wait times and accurately processing transactions. Recognizing referral opportunities is also a key responsibility.
