About the position

The Full-Time Teller position at Founders Federal Credit Union involves providing exceptional customer service and handling various financial transactions for members. The role is focused on ensuring accurate and efficient service while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, inquiries, and cash checks in a fast, friendly, and accurate manner.
• Maintain individual cash box and perform computer transactions for members according to procedures.
• Provide members with information on interest rates, savings accounts, and services offered by the credit union.
• Recognize members on sight and provide courteous service.
• Sell credit union services and compare them with other financial institutions.
• Handle complex accounts of credit union members accurately.
• Open new accounts and process payroll deductions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, including BSA.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous cash handling/teller experience desired.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to type and operate a PC and calculator.
• Ability to gain significant knowledge of all credit union services, including cash policy and loan policy.
• Availability Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
