About the position
Valtech is looking for a Fullstack Developer based in Stockholm. As a Fullstack Developer, you will play a pivotal role as both a consultant/client advisor, and a hands-on developer. Your responsibilities will encompass every stage of client engagements, from initial discovery to final delivery. This will involve close collaboration with local and regional project teams, both internally at Valtech and alongside our valued clients. Your role as a consultant/client advisor will not only entail providing technical knowledge but also understanding the business needs of our clients and effectively communicating how our solutions can address their challenges and contribute to their success. Assignments and clients vary, but our main aim is to always make great high-quality customer experiences that last. We achieve this by using technical solutions that add value, not just for our clients, but also for their customers.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, offering guidance and solutions to address their business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy fullstack solutions that meet client requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies
- Actively participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Around 5 years of experience in fullstack development, with hands-on experience in modern frameworks and technologies
- A proven track record of effectively engaging with stakeholders and identifying opportunities to add value to their projects
- A willingness to move freely within the entire technology stack and experience working in agile working environment
- Flexibility to work on-site in and around Stockholm multiple times a week
- Fluency in Swedish and English
Nice-to-haves
- Experience or strong interest in Angular and Ruby on Rails
- CMS/eCommerce platforms like Sitecore, Adobe, Optimizely, etc.
- A cloud provider like Azure or AWS
