About the position

We are seeking a passionate Fullstack or Frontend Software Engineer with a strong focus on UI/UX design. This role involves creating user-friendly web application features and stunning mockups using tools like Figma. The ideal candidate will work remotely, collaborating with a fully remote team to deliver engaging digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive user interfaces for web applications, ensuring an optimal user experience across devices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and current application users to translate concepts into interactive mockups and prototypes using Figma.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with proficiency in frameworks like React or Vue.js.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to enhance our product offerings.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to improve our applications.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with team members to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
  • Proven experience in frontend development.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with the ability to create detailed mockups and prototypes.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in usability.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively within a team in a fully remote environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.) and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
