About the position
We are seeking a passionate Fullstack or Frontend Software Engineer with a strong focus on UI/UX design. This role involves creating user-friendly web application features and stunning mockups using tools like Figma. The ideal candidate will work remotely, collaborating with a fully remote team to deliver engaging digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive user interfaces for web applications, ensuring an optimal user experience across devices.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and current application users to translate concepts into interactive mockups and prototypes using Figma.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with proficiency in frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to enhance our product offerings.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to improve our applications.
- Mentor and share knowledge with team members to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
Requirements
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Proven experience in frontend development.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with the ability to create detailed mockups and prototypes.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in usability.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively within a team in a fully remote environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.) and RESTful APIs.
