About the position

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Fullstack Java Developer to join a financial company in Charlotte, NC. The role involves working with a small innovative team to develop new technologies, focusing on building APIs and Microservices within a Java ecosystem, as well as Angular UI development. The position requires experience in AWS services and container development using Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Build APIs and Microservices in a Java ecosystem.
• Develop Angular UI components and services.
• Work within an AWS environment utilizing services such as AWS Lambda, S3, and Memory DB.
• Develop applications using containers in Kubernetes.
• Manage projects from conception to finished product, collaborating with a team.
• Contribute to team growth and continuous learning.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in Java development (Version 17).
• Experience in Reactive Programming.
• Strong Angular development skills (Version 14 or higher).
• Experience with Angular services.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience in designing, developing, and integrating APIs.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot API development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and IAM.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI Spec creation, Gradle, Spring Native, Kong, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of database technologies like MongoDB, Redis, and PostGres.
