The Full Stack Java Developer position at The Judge Group is a contract role that offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the development of a cutting-edge digital platform aimed at enhancing research and development programs in the field of biotherapeutics. This role is integral to the creation of a high-quality scientific informatics solution that manages entities involved in the discovery and early development stages of various therapeutic modalities. The successful candidate will engage in both frontend and backend development, utilizing a range of technologies including Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, SQL, Oracle, HTML, and CSS. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions that adhere to best practices and coding standards. You will also participate in code, design, architecture, and documentation reviews, ensuring that the solutions developed are professional, supportable, and well-documented. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with team members and stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop solutions, conduct testing, and facilitate deployment and training. This role requires a strong understanding of the Java programming language and its ecosystem, along with hands-on experience as a full stack developer. You will need to demonstrate solid software engineering practices, experience in system design and lifecycle management, and proficiency in building RESTful API integrations and ETL functions. Familiarity with Oracle databases, server administration on both Windows and Linux, and CI/CD frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins will be advantageous. Additionally, experience in bioinformatics or cheminformatics, as well as Test Driven Development, will be highly regarded.
