About the position

The Fullstack .Net Application Developer position requires a candidate with Top Secret clearance to develop and manage multi-tier framework software applications. The role emphasizes cloud application development, particularly with AWS, and involves working with various programming languages and technologies to create robust software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage multi-tier framework software applications using object-oriented programming languages.
• Migrate on-premises hosted applications to the cloud, preferably AWS.
• Develop cloud-native applications and manage their lifecycle.
• Create and maintain SOAP and REST APIs in a client/server environment.
• Write and evaluate regular expressions for data processing.
• Debug and refactor code for various programming languages, including Java and Python.
• Automate command tasks using scripting command line tools like Vim, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Utilize object-relational mapping (ORM) techniques in application development.
• Work with web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Collaborate with an Agile team to deliver software solutions.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI w CI Poly clearance is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Computer Security or related field, or three additional years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Two or more years of experience as a software developer in building multi-tier framework software applications using object-oriented programming languages such as Java and Python.
• One or more years of experience with cloud application development and management, preferably AWS.
• Experience migrating on-premises hosted applications to the cloud.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
• Experience developing SOAP and REST APIs in a client/server environment.
• Experience writing and evaluating regular expressions.
• Experience developing, debugging, and/or refactoring code for popular programming languages.
• Experience with scripting command line tools to automate command tasks.
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Knowledge of web-related technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with major databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with .Net Core 7/8 and React.
• Basic knowledge of Azure.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, particularly transitioning from SOAP to RESTful APIs.
• Experience with GitLab for ticketing and CI/CD processes.
• Minimal experience with Linux commands and Docker containers.
