About the position
The Fulltime Dishwasher position at MBK Senior Living is essential for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. The role involves transporting, sanitizing, and cleaning all dishes and utensils after meal times, as well as assisting in other dining and kitchen duties. This position is part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality service and enriching the lives of residents and team members alike.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, cleans, and organizes dish storage and washing areas in accordance with safety and department policies.
- Washes all dishes, utensils, cooking tools, pots, and pans, ensuring proper sanitation and storage.
- Completes general cleanup and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including sinks and cooking ranges.
- Empties trash and ensures sanitation levels of dish machines and sinks are within required ranges.
- Maintains proper water temperature for cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing.
- Records temperature and sanitizer levels at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
- Transports food to the CFL program for all meals, ensuring correct temperatures are maintained during transportation.
- Assists cooks and serves residents as needed.
- Ensures proper cleaning supplies are in inventory and notifies supervisor when new supplies are needed.
Requirements
- Must be over 18 years old or have proper work permit and authorization documentation.
- Background clearances as required by government regulations.
- Completion of a health screening and provision of negative TB test results.
- Experience in restaurant or food services operations preferred.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
