About the position

The Quality Engineering Specialist role focuses on enhancing test automation processes within the IT industry, specifically leveraging tools like Playwright and Sauce Labs. The position requires extensive experience in implementing and reviewing automation frameworks, recommending improvements, and defining end-to-end automation workflows for various applications. The specialist will also be responsible for setting targets for automation roadmaps and improving overall testing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement defined enterprise level framework for test automation.
• Review the current state of test automation and recommend improvements.
• Review team deliverables against scripting standards and suggest enhancements.
• Define end-to-end automation workflow for application services from initiation to delivery.
• Indicate types of automation testing required across various business layers and recommend appropriate tools.
• Set targets for the automation roadmap and improve test estimation efforts.
• Define CI/CD pipelines and recommend best practices for automation.
• Provide solution approaches for given problem statements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry, primarily in test automation.
• Proficiency in Playwright (UI/API), Mobile Automation, POSTMAN, Sauce Labs, Typescript, JavaScript, Python, and Selenium.
• Experience with WinAppDriver, UFT or UFT One with VB Scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Prior experience working in the insurance domain.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience integrating tools like JIRA, Xray, Perfecto, and Sauce Labs into existing frameworks.
