About the position

As a Senior SQL Developer at Epik Solutions, you will be integral to our data management and analytics initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions, as well as creating DAX solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive SQL development experience, proficiency in Power BI, and strong problem-solving skills, working collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain documentation for database schemas, data flows, and processes.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Manage the entire life cycle of Power BI solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability.

Requirements

• Experience in designing and implementing SSIS packages for ETL processes.
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers.
• Experience in other SQL Server components, such as SSRS and SSAS, is a plus.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization techniques.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience developing reports using Power BI, Tableau or other visualization tools.
