About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems while consistently adhering to our data integrity standards. You will work closely with various departments to gather data, process documents, and verify the accuracy of information. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for identifying discrepancies and resolving any issues promptly. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to the overall success of our operations. You will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in your work, ensuring that all data is handled with confidentiality and integrity. The role also involves generating periodic reports and summaries as required by management, assisting in organizing and managing paperwork and electronic files for easy retrieval, and supporting other administrative functions as necessary to enhance office productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update data in the company's database.
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with company policies.
  • Verify the accuracy of data entries by cross-referencing with source documents.
  • Generate periodic reports and summaries as required by management.
  • Assist in organizing and managing paperwork and electronic files for easy retrieval.
  • Support other administrative functions as necessary to enhance office productivity.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with data to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in data management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry or similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and data management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
