About the position

The Tax Manager position at CyberCoders is a fully remote role focused on managing tax services for a diverse client base across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public accounting, particularly in handling various tax returns and providing advisory services. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and the ability to manage a significant volume of tax returns annually, while also being involved in both preparation and review processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, Individuals, and Multi-state tax filings.
  • Prepare tax returns as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide transaction and business advisory services to clients.
  • Handle a portfolio of 300-500 tax returns annually.
  • Work with clients in the $10 million - $100 million revenue range, focusing on real estate transactions, including 754 elections and 1031 exchanges.

Requirements

  • Active CPA or EA certification.
  • 10+ years of experience in Public Accounting.
  • High level of technical knowledge in tax regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing various tax returns including S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and Individual returns.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of tax returns annually.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong experience with Gift, Trust, and Estate Returns.
  • Experience signing off on tax returns.
  • Transaction and Business Advisory experience.
