About The Position

Chula Vista Pediatric Dentistry and Sweetwater Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our fun and fast-paced pediatric dental and orthodontic office. The ideal candidate will contribute to providing exceptional dental care while ensuring a positive and engaging experience for our young patients. This role requires a team player who is dedicated to learning and maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a dental assistant or registered dental assistant
• Pediatric dental experience preferred
• Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm
• Knowledge of Open Dental software preferred, but training is available
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive and outgoing personality

Nice To Haves

• Experience in orthodontics
• Ability to engage with children and create a fun dental experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Manage patient records and appointments using Open Dental software
• Educate patients and their families on proper dental hygiene
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Support orthodontic procedures as needed
