About the position
The position involves assisting with the maintenance and enhancement of business reporting functions within Retail Operations. The role focuses on gathering and analyzing data from various sources, transforming large datasets, and creating insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI and other visualization tools. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data needs and drive strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting functions.
- Gather Retail Operations data from multiple databases, platforms, stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors for analysis.
- Transform large data sets through data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Leverage Power BI and other data visualization tools to build and maintain custom reports and dashboards.
- Implement row level security in Power BI to enable secured viewing of reports for designated job levels and locations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs for strategic objectives.
- Identify and communicate data-related issues and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide data insights and solutions to leaders to drive decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience with data analysis and reporting in a business environment.
- Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Strong skills in data wrangling and exploratory data analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile project management.
