About the position

The Functional Analyst at i360technologies plays a crucial role in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and enhancing current processes through strategic problem-solving and technology implementation. This position involves collaborating with clients, leading integration testing, and ensuring alignment with IT strategies while maintaining a high level of functional competency in automated Government systems.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and lead requirements gathering sessions, providing guidance on recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to analyze current processes and propose enhancements.
  • Advise on system options, risks, costs vs. benefits, and impacts.
  • Ensure systems align with the IT long-term strategy.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions.
  • Set testing strategies for modules and lead end-to-end integration testing.
  • Participate in project delivery and manage minor/major releases.
  • Troubleshoot and evaluate complex incidents, designing corrections as needed.
  • Maintain functional competency by staying updated on trends and best practices.
  • Analyze and document findings from Product Backlog Items (PBIs) in Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in user story grooming sessions and coordinate with the FMIS Product Owner team.
  • Create and update Functional Requirements documentation.
  • Conduct requirement and design reviews, including reviewing test plans and results.
  • Review release items for production implementation and conduct knowledge transfer to client staff.

Requirements

  • Eight years of progressive experience in the respective area.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Detailed knowledge of organizational practices, procedures, policies, and methodologies for automated Government systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to clear a federal background investigation.
  • Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
