About the position

The Functional Analyst role at Rigil Corporation involves working closely with systems analysts to apply expertise in specific functional areas such as accounting, human resources, and logistics to system analysis and design for large-scale, complex systems. The position requires analyzing problem areas, proposing feasible solutions, and participating in structured project reviews. The analyst will also assist in developing design deliverables and ensure compliance with project and agency standards, including industry standards like ISO 20000 and ISO 9000:2001.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with systems analysts to apply functional area expertise to system analysis and design.
• Analyze problem areas and propose feasible solutions.
• Participate in and conduct structured project reviews.
• Assist in the development of design deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain information systems utilizing Services Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Ensure compliance with project and agency standards, including ISO standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Eight years of progressive experience in a relevant area (e.g., accounting, human resources, logistics).
• Detailed knowledge of organizational practices, procedures, policies, and methodologies related to automated Government systems.
