About the position

The Functional Product Analyst role at Highmark Health involves supporting various analytical aspects of the product management lifecycle within specific business application components. The position requires collaboration with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs, create business cases, and translate high-level requirements into detailed specifications. The analyst will also conduct research, analyze data, and work with delivery partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of product capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, vendors, and IT delivery partners to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions.
• Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision, business requirements, customer personas, and product capability roadmaps.
• Participate in the full product management delivery life cycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage product requirements and delivery plans.
• Support business analysis, requirements definition, user testing, and defect management to minimize production defects.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, assisting with requirement walkthroughs and project status reporting.
• Participate in sprint plans and reviews to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with required standards and obtain necessary approvals throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a Business Analysis and/or Analyst role.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and/or Process Improvement is preferred.
• Experience in the Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry is preferred.
