About the position

The Functional Product Analyst at Highmark Health plays a crucial role in supporting both Epic Clarity report writing and various analytical aspects of the product management lifecycle. This position requires collaboration with Business Intelligence and healthcare professionals to gather, organize, and present data effectively to users. The analyst will be responsible for creating meaningful analytics and reports, ensuring that complex data is communicated in non-technical terms. This includes developing basic and ad hoc reporting for users, training them on software, and assisting with advanced reporting needs. Working closely with stakeholders and delivery partners, the analyst will prioritize business capabilities in the product backlog and provide root cause analysis and corrective action plans. The role also includes verifying and governing the delivery of customer needs, ensuring timely and quality delivery, and documenting and resolving risks, defects, and issues. The analyst will analyze market trends for competitive insights and correlate these into business value statements to drive recommendations for business platforms. Building organizational and platform knowledge in one or more disciplines is expected to advance the analyst's professional career. The role also involves mentoring junior resources and requires a thorough understanding of the assigned business platform and its integration points to manage delivery across the product management lifecycle.
