About the position

The Functional QA Tester for Payments is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and testing of payment processing systems. This role involves creating and maintaining test plans and test cases, executing tests, and collaborating with team members to ensure the quality and functionality of payment applications. The position requires expertise in payment systems, backend transaction testing, and end-to-end reintegration testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and testing of payment applications.
• Develop, document, and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Execute and evaluate test plans and test cases.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of test cases.
• Work collaboratively with other team members.
• Test backend payment flows, including data transfers and validating logs.
• Conduct end-to-end reintegration testing for payment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in payment processing, including backend integration for transactions.
• Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and payment backend processes.
• Experience in testing backend payment flows and validating transaction success or failure.
• Strong understanding of testing fundamentals, particularly in payments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tools such as Misiri, SQL Developer, Notepad++, UL Tool, and Robot Framework.
