About the position
The Functional SAP Financial Business Systems Analyst (SAP ECC) plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing the SAP ERP system, specifically in the areas of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Billing, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting. This position requires a subject matter expert who can independently research and resolve complex business and technical issues while providing support for system updates and user acceptance testing. The analyst will also be responsible for project management and coordination of small requests, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal customers.
Responsibilities
- SAP Master Data G/L maintenance and request monitoring
- Assist with SAP configuration changes
- Support SAP automation and enhancements
- QA (quality analysis) testing of system updates
- Define and coordinate User Acceptance Testing
- Trouble-shooting and timely resolution of system or testing issues
- Research SAP requests and propose recommendations or coordinate research with business analyst
- SAP Report creation and user assistance
- SAP invoice package testing and validation by customer
- Update SAP Job Aids and Procedure documentation
- Prepare Internal Controls Periodic Documentation requests relating to SAP
- Role access review report preparation
- Project manage and coordinate on small requests
- Support projects and testing as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
- 5 years of work experience in Accounting and SAP ERP business systems analysis
- Project management and/or process improvement experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
- Implementation experience
- Self-learns new processes/software to solve analytic problems
- Expert interpersonal skills necessary to drive results and deliver on commitments in a collaborative fashion
- Skillful at meeting facilitation, conflict management, and consensus building
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and ability to work under pressure with strict timelines in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with prior experience giving presentations
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, MS Visio, SharePoint, Project
