About the position
The Functional Support Analyst plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive insight, problem-solving, and implementation guidance for defense information systems. This position requires a blend of functional understanding and technical expertise to propose and implement solutions for a variety of challenges, working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for DoD information systems.
- Triaging and troubleshooting IT issues.
- Tracking and reporting issues using DoD ticketing systems.
- Communicate technical information and propose solutions to clients.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with providing functional support for DoD information systems.
- 2+ years of experience with triaging and troubleshooting IT issues.
- 2+ years of experience with tracking and reporting issues using DoD ticketing systems.
- Ability to communicate technical information and propose solutions to clients.
- Secret clearance required.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with supporting MAF C2 systems, including CAMPS, GDSS, GATES, or MEIS.
- Experience working independently and in cross-team situations.
- Bachelor's degree.
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including CompTIA Security+.
