In this role, the Fund Accounting Manager will be responsible for performing quarterly and annual closing procedures for all funds, which includes a thorough review of the NAV package. The position requires handling capital calls, distributions, and requests for information, as well as maintaining accurate accounting and legal records. The manager will oversee performance reporting, IRR calculations, and incentive calculations, collaborating closely with administrators to resolve any accounting questions or issues that may arise. Additionally, the role involves supporting interim and annual audits and managing the in-house accounting system. Beyond the core accounting responsibilities, the position also offers exposure to private valuations, compliance filings, fund/SPV formation, tax compliance, and special projects that relate to the overall operations of the firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to understand complex issues thoroughly and demonstrate self-motivation and proactive problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to communicate openly and effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quarterly and annual closing procedures for all funds, including NAV package review.
  • Handle capital calls, distributions (including carried interest waterfalls), and requests for information.
  • Maintain accounting and legal records.
  • Oversee performance reporting, IRR calculations, and incentive calculations.
  • Collaborate with administrators to address accounting questions and issues.
  • Support interim and annual audits.
  • Manage the in-house accounting system.
  • Engage in private valuations and compliance filings.
  • Assist in fund/SPV formation and tax compliance.
  • Participate in special projects related to overall firm operations.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate/graduate degree in accounting.
  • 4-7 years' experience in private equity or venture capital.
  • CPA license or path to CPA desired (but not required).
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Investran experience is a plus (though not required).

Benefits
