About the position

The Fund Controller position at a prominent real estate investment firm involves leading the Investor Reporting team and managing various financial responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Lead the Investor Reporting team, ensuring accuracy and providing actionable insights.
• Manage liquidity and oversee payable workflows.
• Resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
• Collaborate with external consultants, service providers, and joint venture partners.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly investor reports.
• Ensure REIT compliance and support cross-departmental projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally within real estate or private equity.
• CPA is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with MRI and Juniper Square is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
