About the position
The Fund Operations Manager will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of investment vehicles at a boutique alternative asset management firm. This mid-level position is designed for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in fund operations, offering significant growth potential and opportunities to develop leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational workflows, including trade operations, reconciliations, and reporting
- Oversee fund accounting processes and financial reporting timelines
- Support compliance with SEC regulations, AML requirements, and FATCA guidelines
- Coordinate with fund administrators, prime brokers, and other service providers
- Execute trade allocations and maintain robust reconciliation processes
- Assist with external audits and due diligence requests
- Help maintain operational risk controls and procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fund operations or fund accounting
- Strong knowledge of investment operations and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Clear communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Mastery of Excel and financial software systems
