About the position

The Fund Tax Services, Associate 2 role is designed for a motivated individual who will support the Tax team with FATCA and CRS-related issues as well as International Tax matters. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting for various tax jurisdictions, contributing to the overall effectiveness of State Street Global Services in delivering financial solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with all FATCA and CRS related and International Tax issues.
• Coordinate with clients to receive their sign off and approval for FATCA/CRS related items.
• Coordinate with Investor Services/NAV/Fund Accounting to ensure investor data is complete for accurate reportable suggestions.
• Work with relevant teams to ensure proper financials are filed for reportable investors.
• Review investor data to determine FATCA and CRS reportable suggestions.
• Assist team members to push the annual reporting cycle to completion.
• Assist the team with the portfolio of team projects.
• Support the team with issues raised by tax authorities in relation to FATCA/CRS and various European investor Tax jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree is required.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• Strong problem resolution and analytical abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and time management skills.
• Self-sufficient and motivated with a strong client service focus.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations is a plus.
• Macro/VBA skills are a plus.
