About the position

The Project Manager/Business Analyst role within Morgan Stanley Fund Services focuses on managing and implementing the Cash/Payment System platform. The position involves collaborating with business units to define product strategies, gather user requirements, and oversee the rollout of technology products. The candidate will also provide user support, track client issues, and coordinate with development teams across global locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement the direction and priorities of the Cash/Payment System platform.
• Facilitate and gather detailed user requirements for development teams.
• Conduct design reviews with the business unit.
• Manage overall rollout plans including QA, user testing, staff training, and final delivery.
• Act as the first line of user support for products.
• Track client issues and prioritize post-implementation issues and enhancement requests.
• Coordinate between business and development teams across multiple global locations.

Requirements

• Experience in working on cash wire products and understanding banking systems.
• Knowledge of Swift payment processing.
• Experience in designing workflows and gathering business requirements.
• Strong aptitude for process improvements and workflow simplification.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams and projects across varying products.
• Experience in delivering projects and managing system rollouts impacting cross-functional departments.
• Strong communication skills to navigate at all levels in the organization.
• Executive reporting and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Good interpersonal, analytical, cross-functional, and administrative skills.
• Ability to work and lead as part of a globally distributed team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with hedge funds, private equity funds, hedge fund technology vendors, hedge fund administrators, and/or prime brokers.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, SharePoint.
