About the position

The Furniture Assistant position at ARC Thrift Stores involves supporting various departments by managing merchandise, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining a positive shopping environment. The role requires effective interaction with customers and teamwork, reporting directly to the assistant store manager or immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Sort, package, and occasionally price donations for assigned departments.
• Display merchandise in designated areas on the sales floor.
• Perform responsibilities of various departments when the pricer is absent.
• Ensure the production department is clean and materials are stocked.
• Clean personal work area daily to remove dust and damaged goods.
• Keep the sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as directed.
