About the position

The Furniture Delivery Driver position at ZZ Logistics & Freight involves loading, transporting, and unloading furniture while providing excellent customer service. This part-time, contract role requires a valid Chauffeur's license and offers flexible scheduling, including day and night shifts, primarily in the Auburn Hills, MI area.

Responsibilities

• Checking client orders and ensuring correct items are loaded into the truck before departure.
• Delivering and installing/assembling furniture in customers' homes.
• Assisting with loading and unloading products.
• Providing excellent in-home customer service.
• Working as part of the delivery team.
• Working flexible schedules that include some weekends.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Chauffeur's license.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Auburn Hills area.
• 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Legal status to work in the USA.
• Clean driving record (no DUIs, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets, etc. in past 3 years).
• Clean criminal record (no major misdemeanors or felonies in past 10 years).
• Able to pass a physical (including drug test).
• Must have conversational English skills.
• Must be punctual, energetic, reliable, and honest.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice-to-haves

• White glove delivery experience preferred.
