About the position
The Furniture Delivery Helper position at MS TransportHub LLC involves assisting delivery drivers in transporting furniture across the Tri-state Area. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading items from the delivery vehicle.
- Safely transport goods to designated locations while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure that all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery sites.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and warehouse area.
- Support the driver in navigating routes effectively and efficiently.
- Help with inventory management in the warehouse as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in furniture delivery, warehouse operations, or delivery services is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or box trucks is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Clean Record: Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
