BAE Systems, under the Integration Support Contract, is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to assist with all activities within the Integration Section of the Fuze MOD branch. Typical daily workload will include supporting the program in transition from low rate initial production (LRIP) to full rate production (FRP), analysis of test data and validation methodologies, collaboration between multiple stakeholders, and routine technical support of working groups and integrated product teams (IPTs). Program activities will also include the employment of digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures. Responsibilities include providing technical advice to Government leaders and engineers, preparing and reviewing engineering analysis reports and methodology requirements inputs, and participating in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, and other technical meetings as required. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice to Government leaders and engineers.
  • Prepare/review engineering analysis reports and methodology requirements inputs.
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, and other technical meetings, as required.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes (5 years with MS degree).
  • 2 years experience leading system design, integration, and analytical efforts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as an aerospace/mechanical engineer on a missile system or complex weapon system (especially ACAT I program or ICBM-related experience).
  • Current Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Knowledge or previous experience with Air Force or Dept. of Energy Operations and acquisition programs.
  • Previous experience with testing and test data analysis.
