About the position
The FWS Student Worker III position is an off-campus Federal Work Study internship focused on video and multimedia content creation. The role involves creating and editing video content for various social media platforms and other digital formats, while also providing administrative support to currently enrolled students. The internship is designed for students who are actively enrolled in school and requires a commitment of 15-25 hours per week for a minimum of six months.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit video content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram)
- Update and edit videos for use on websites, mass emails, internal displays, presentations, and commercials
- Conduct interviews with ID partners, members, and mentors to deliver a story to a targeted audience
- Review, edit, and compile past videos and photographs to deliver compelling narratives to stakeholders
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be an enrolled student
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current student in good standing with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester
- FWS fund eligible
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and motivated individuals
