About the position
The IT Audit Manager at EY will play a crucial role in helping clients evaluate and enhance their business operations within the financial services sector. This position involves managing multiple client teams, leading IT internal audit engagements, and assisting with business development activities. Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client teams and lead IT internal audit engagements.
- Integrate external audit processes and oversee SOC reporting.
- Assist with business development activities across financial services sectors.
- Provide guidance on complex, judgmental, and specialized issues.
- Create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives while ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Brief the team on the client's IT environment and industry trends.
- Maintain relationships with client management and manage expectations around deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with approximately 4 years of related work experience.
- Degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 6 years of experience as an IT auditor or IT risk advisor in a public accounting firm, professional services firm, or financial services company.
- Solid experience leading IT internal audit, external audit, and SOC reporting engagements.
- Experience with internal audit risk assessments, SOX/internal controls, and tools in the financial services sector.
- Strong project management skills and advanced communication abilities.
Nice-to-haves
- CA, CGEIT, CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CMA, CPA, and CRISC certification is desired; non-certified hires must become certified within 1 year.
- Other relevant certifications or credentials may be acceptable substitutes with written consent.
