About the position

As a Realty Project Coach at Walmart, you will be responsible for overseeing store remodels, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role involves supervising team members, managing escalations, and collaborating with store associates to maintain project timelines. The position requires significant travel, with expectations of being away from home for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Motivate your team to meet timelines and deliverables on projects.
• Encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates.
• Resolve concerns from store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
• Own the execution of projects in assigned stores.
• Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders.
• Understand project plans and minimize impact on store operations.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for team members.
• Listen and act on ideas, suggestions, questions, or concerns from associates.
• Evaluate talent, train and mentor team members, and provide recognition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
• Experience with leading people, projects, initiatives, or leading cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Business or related field.
• 1 year's experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Project Management - Management Professional Certification.
