About the position

The Multi-Venue Event Manager at G Hospitality is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and logistics of events across multiple venues. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in event management and operations, capable of managing simultaneous events while ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute event strategies for multiple venues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations from start to finish.
  • Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and provide professional recommendations.
  • Create detailed event timelines, floor plans, and logistics plans tailored to each venue.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of each venue, ensuring readiness for events, including setup, staffing, and equipment availability.
  • Ensure each venue complies with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
  • Supervise and manage event staff, including venue coordinators, technicians, caterers, security, and cleaning staff.
  • Manage event budgets across multiple venues, ensuring all costs are tracked and within the allocated budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during events.
  • Maintain event documentation, including contracts, schedules, and post-event reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event management, preferably with multi-venue oversight.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Social Tables) and Microsoft Office.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and contracts.
